I love kids…

I’m a sucker for children singing just about anything.  From Jr. High versions of Lisztomania by Phoenix to this… a group of kids in Racine WI singing the end credits theme song to a video game called Portal titled “Still Alive”.

In the game you play as a prisoner in Aperture Laboratories, a lab run by a psychotic computer who’s trying to kill you.  In the end, after you destroy the computer and escape, this song plays with the computer singing and it’s weird and cute and a little uncomfortable… so why NOT have a bunch of kids singing it.  The best part of all of this is these kids parents, and probably the kids themselves, have never seen or even know what the game is about but they sing it anyway.  It’s awesome.
